Web Developer Wanted
Working in an Agile environment, we are looking for software developers who will be responsible for building and enhancing bespoke applications. Projects include complex back-end systems through to client-end (desktop and web) services. Your primary responsibility is to help design and develop these applications, coordinating with other team members. Collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
We are looking developers to join our team who are forward thinking, pro-active and creative.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Translate application storyboards and user stories into functional applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions
- Help maintain code quality, organisation and automation
- Collaborate with other Scrum team members
- Actively contribute to a continually improving Agile software development framework
Skills & Requirements
- Knowledge of PHP (we work with Yii & Symfony)
- Experience of working with an Agile methodology
- Knowledge of AngularJS & Node.JS
- CSS (for high level modifications as we have FE designers on board)
- MySQL / MariaDB
- Basic server administration skills (Apache / Nginx / Linux)
- WordPress & Magento customization advantageous.
